glomerulas is the part of nephron which participate in the fillteration of blood. it is in the kind of capsule called as Bowens capsule. if we go step by step then

the afferent artriole brings blood to glomeruli where miost of the blood content is filtered out without considering the important or non important parts and goes to bowmens capsule. glomerulas fillerteration rate is responsible for that.
