☆Hello friend☆

As side of square is 40 cm, its area=

40^2 m^2= 1600 m^2

Now, as per question Both area are equal

So area of trianlgle= 1/2 × base × height

1600 m^2= 1/2 × base × 80m
1600 m^2= 40 m× base

1600m^2/40m= base

40 m= base

hop \: it \: helps

area of triangle = area of square

area of square = side ×  side
                          = 40  × 40
                          = 1600 m²

Hence, area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

                 1600 m² =  1/2 × base ×  80
                     base  =  1600 × 2 /80
                               =  40 m
∵ The base of triangle is 40 m.

hope this will help you
comment below- how is it?
