=2 (16+9)
=2×25
=50cm
now side of square are equal so..
4a=50cm
a=50/4
a=12.5 cm
so each side of square is 12.5 cm..
hope it helps u....

Given, the length of the rectangle = 16cm.

Given, the breadth of the rectangle = 9cm.

Area of rectangle = length * breadth

                              = 16 * 9

                              = 144cm.

We know that perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l + b)

                                                                      = 2(16 + 9)

                                                                      = 50cm.

Given that Wire is rebent in the shape of a square

perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of a square

50 = 4 * S

S = 12.5cm

Thus, the measure of each side of the square = 12.5cm.

Hope this helps!
