Answer:

a) 858588

b) 7900000

c) 1000000

d) 999999

e) 90, 00, 024

f) 6000 or 6

g) 507070

h) 1000 hundreds

i) 8

j) all the numbers between 10000-99999

Step-by-step explanation:

a) The number which comes immediately after a particular number is called its successor. The successor of a whole number is the number obtained by adding 1 to it. eg- the successor of 0 is 1; successor of 1 is 2; successor of 2 is 3 and so on.

b) opposite to successor, predecessor is the number which comes before a particular number. the predecessor is obtained by subtracting 1 from the given number, eg- the predecessor of 5 is 4.

c) hopefully this question is self explanatory, if not message me.

d) hopefully this question is self explanatory, if not message me.

e) 90,00,000 + 24 =90,00,024

f) The value of where a digit is in the number. Example: In 352, the 5 is in the "tens" place, so its place value is 10. in this question they are asking for the place value of 6: but 6 is repeated twice in the number given therefore there are 2 possible outcomes

g) just add the numbers and take care of the zeros. it easier if u put them under each other.

h) One hundred = 100 has 2 zeros. So, One lakh has 1000 hundreds. 1,00,000 hundred make a crore. So, there are 1,000 hundreds in one lakh.

i)  i have inserted a place value chart please read it and put the given numbers onto each section.

j) in this question i am guessing that there was a misprint and they meant to say there instead of these. but anyways, from what i have understood here u have to give range of all the numbers which have five digit and we can do that by starting with the smallest 5 digit number and ending with the largest 5 digit number.

HAPPY LEARNING!
