Hi dear!

There are three laws of motion by Newton:
Newton's first law of motion states that if a body is at rest then it will remain at rest and if it is in motion then it will remain moving with same motion unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force.

Newton's second law of motion states that the rate of change of momentum is directly proportional to the force applied on it and the change in momentum takes place in the direction in which the force is applied.

Newton's third law of motion states that to every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.

Extra info:
Inertia is the inherent property of a body due to which it want to remain at rest or to remain motion. You can understand it as your will due to which you don't want to move and while moving in a vehicle(getting cool air) you don't want to rest :p
