As the opposite sides of a llgm are equal so let the sides be 5x and 7x resp.
then the perimeter will be the sum of all its sides. i.e. 2× 5x + 2× 7x = 72
10x + 14x = 72
24x = 72
x = 3
so lengths are
5× 3 = 15 cm and 7 × 3 = 21 cm .
