Step-by-step explanation:

let their present age be x and y

so according to question

x= 3y

and x+15= 2(y+15)

= 3y +15= 2y +30

= 3y-2y= 30-15

=y= 15

x = 3y = 3× 15= 45 ....x= 45 and y = 15 (ans)
