Tesla invented the 21st century. He predicted the internet , personal communication devices or mobile phones.

He made AC motor which eventually gave us AC electrical current transmission system. If it was not available today we would have been wasting enormous amounts of electrical energy in form of heat (due to DC transmission system of Edison).

He gave us SONAR , Hydroelectricity , Tesla coils.

He also did develop radio years before Guglielmo Marconi (who is considered to be the inventor of radio). When Tesla knew that Marconi has stole his intellectual property he said , “Marconi is a good fellow. Let him continue. He is using seventeen of my patents .”

Tesla also gave up his deal (which could have made his worlds first Billionaire ) with J. Westinghouse , when Westinghouse asked his for help.

After contributing so much , he died alone and penniless on 7 January 1943, Wyndham New Yorker Hotel, New York City .

I am not saying that he should be considered as the greatest scientist ever , but to consider him as one of the greatest and give him the right place in history for his contribution .

A great scientist, Nikola Tesla was born on 10 july 1856. He was an inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineerand physicts. He is best known for his contributions to design of modern alternating current {AC} and electricity supply system.He lived for 86 years. He studied in Graz university of Technology. He gave designs to Tesla coil, Electric motor, ETC
