Let the common multiple be x

Sum of angles of a triangle = 180°

one of the angles of triangle is right angle (90°)

(2x)°+(7x)°+90°=180°

9x=90

x=10

\pink{x=20°}

\orange{y=70°}

hope it helps

Answer:

let x=2a and y =7a

so as we know in a right angled triangle on angle is 90°.

hence the above is right angled triangle one angle is 90° and other two are 2a and 7a

In a triangle sum of all angle is 180°

so,

90° +2a+ 7a =180°

= 2a + 7a =180°-90°

= 9a = 90°

a = 90°÷9

= a = 10°

therefore x= 2×10°= 20°

y= 7×10°=70°
