On some days, everything seems to go terribly wrong.Last Saturday was such day.I woke up in the morning only to find that my back was paining,and my head ached awfully.when Mummy came in to see if I was awake I groaned and said I wouldn't go to school. but mummy would have none of it
"Out of bed, and off you go," she said sternly.
when your heart isn't in things ,it becomes very difficult to concentrate.school was worse. Every teacher had some complaint against me. And to cap it all,the P.T master made us twenty push-ups and run five times around the school ground.
I wait for the bus after school, but it didn't come.
feeling awfully hungry, I trudged on home. some of mother's friends had come over and she was busy talking to them .so I had to be content with a sandwich.I wanted to take a nap but couldn't because of the chatter of the visitors. Mohan and Rahul had already told me that they wouldn't be coming over that evening to play.I tried doing my homework, but my eyes watered and the pages swam before me. Even the T.V programmes that evening were boring.
That night daddy came with the news that we would go for a picnic the next day. Unfortunately I developed a fever that night and the picnic had to be put off. I felt terrible, and even cried. but there was nothing I could do except hope that such bad days would never again occur in my life.....
