On 1st august,first week, due to heavy rainfall in the monsoon severe flood affected the southern indian state of karnataka.Thousand of people were evacuated to safer places and relief camps.A total of 61 people have been killed and seven lakh been displaced. And also a tatal of 121 people have been died due to heavy rainfall in kerela.Over 2 lakh people have been directly affected by the flood and have been shifted to 1318 relief camps in different parts of kerela.1,789 houses had been damage fully in between 8 and 19 august ,while the numbers of partially damage houses is 14,542.
