volume of cube =a^3
if sides are doubled then,
A=2a
therefore,
new,
volume of cube = (2a)^3
which gives,
8a^3
that is 8 times the initial volume.
initial surface area,
6a^2
therefore,
final surface area become,
6*(2a)^2
6*4a^2
that means it is increased by 4 times of its initial.
I hope it would help you,if you like it then please mark it as brainlist pls pls pls pls pls
