Solution:

Let m, m-2 are two roots of a

quadratic equation.

according to the problem given,

m³ - (m-2)³ =98

=> m³-(m³-3*m²*2+3*m*2²-2³)=98

=> m³-(m³-6m²+12m-8)=98

=> m³-m³+6m²-12m+8-98=0

=> 6m²-12m-90=0

=> 6(m²-2m-15)=0

=> m²-2m-15=0

=> m²-5m+3m-15=0

=> m(m-5)+3(m-5)=0

=> (m-5)(m+3)=0

=> m-5 = 0 or m+3 = 0

=> m=5 or m=-3

Now ,

Roots are (5,3)

Or (-3,-5)

case 1 :

(5,3)

Sum of the roots = 5+3 = 8

product of the roots = 5×3 = 15

Required quadratic equation:

x²-8x+15 = 0

Option (A) is correct

Hi

Thank you to be patient

We got the value of c in first paper = 15

In second paper we got b = - 8

Therefore the answer is

Option a.) x² - 8x + 15

Bye
