Why is the larva of frog not same as adult frog ?​

Larval stage in the life cycle of an amphibian is a tadpole. frog lays eggs, hatched from the egg tadpoles have a more or less globular body, a laterally compressed tail.And internal or external gills . ... And becomes an audult, means frog, this is the reason ,why larva of frog are not same as adult frog.

It is because of the metamorphosis process during this process small frogs also develop hinds and legs so due to this larva of frog not same as the adult frog
