  \frac{ \sqrt{3}  -  \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{3}  +  \sqrt{2} } \times  \frac{ \sqrt{3} -  \sqrt{2}  }{ \sqrt{3} -  \sqrt{2}  }   \\  =     \frac{ { (\sqrt{3  } -  \sqrt{2})  }^{2} }{ { \sqrt{3} }^{2}  -  { \sqrt{2} }^{2} }  \\  =  \frac{3 + 2 - 2 \sqrt{6} }{3 - 2}

first simplify the equation that is on LHS

 =   5 - 2 \sqrt{6}

Now take LHS and RHS equal

a + b \sqrt{6}   = 5 - 2 \sqrt{6}  \\

It is given then you can find that

a=5 and b= -2

Note

  • observe the question properly
  • Then take LHS in most questions but some questions need simplification of RHS
  • Then take RHS and LHS both
  • You find that there is some similarities between LHS and RHS
  • except the number given (√6) you are able to find the answer

Hope you find it helpful
