》In periodic table , there are 7 periods and 18 group in periodic table . First group is called alkaline Group . Second group ia called Alkaline earth metal .18th group is called Noble gase group . 17th group is called Halogen . Left hand side till 13 ģroups are Metal after than frm 15 to 18 are non-metal . Carbon family or 14th group is called Metalliod .

》 As we move down the group atomic radius increases . When we move left to right atomic radius increases also metallic character decreases .
