{\huge{\bold{\purple{\bigstar{\boxed{\boxed{\bf{Question}}}}}}}}

Express \dfrac{24}{-30} as rational no. with numerator :

i) -8

ii)-12

{\huge{\bold{\purple{\bigstar{\boxed{\boxed{\bf{Answer}}}}}}}}

i) numerator = -8

  • divide the eq. by 3

 \dfrac{\dfrac{24}{3}}{\dfrac{-30}{3}}

\dfrac{-8}{10}

Hence the required fraction = {\bold{\blue{\boxed{\bf{\dfrac{-8}{10}}}}}}

ii) numerator = -12

divide the eq. by 2

 \dfrac{\dfrac{24}{2}}{\dfrac{-30}{2}}

\dfrac{-12}{15}

Hence the required fraction = {\bold{\blue{\boxed{\bf{\dfrac{-12}{15}}}}}}
