Question:-

subtract the sum of -3/10 and 5/8 from the sum of 4/15 and 2/- 5

Answer :-

according to the problem given ,

[ 4/15 + ( - 2/5 ) ] - [ ( -3/10 ) + 5/8 ]

= ( 4/15 - 2/5 ) - ( -3/10 + 5/8 )

= ( 4 - 6 )/15 - ( -12 + 25 )/40

= -2/15 - ( 13/40 )

= ( -16 - 39 ) / 120

= -55/120

= - 11/24
