Please tell me all the types of numbers(ex-Prime no. , composite no.etc) WITH DEFINITION( 42points)

Types of numbers are as follows :

1.Natural number : these are positive counting numbers, these are start from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,............

2. Whole number :these are also positive counting, these are start from 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9............ ..

3. Integers : these are positive as well as negative. for example : -4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4......

4.Rational numbers : this is all in the fraction where top and bottom are integers.
1/2, 2/3 ........

5.Real numbers : this includes all the numbers are in decimals. for example : 0.23 , 4.56 .

→Whole number :- All counting number starting with 0, then it is said to be whole number.

E.g. :- 0,1,2,3,4,5,... etc.


→ Natural number :- All counting number is starting with 1, then it is said to be natural number.

E.g. :- 1,2,3,4,5,.... etc.


→ Even number :- Those numbers which are divisible by 2 , is known as even number.

E.g. :- 2,4,6,8,10, etc.

→ Odd number :- Those numbers which are not divisible by 2 , is known as off number.

E.g. :- 1,3,5,7,9, etc.


→ Prime number :- Those numbers having only two factors i.e., 1 and itself is known as prime number.

E.g. :- 2,3,5,7,11, etc.

[ => 2 is the only even prime number . ]


→ Composite number :- Those numbers having more than two factors is known as composite number.

E.g. :- 4,6,8,9,10, etc.


[ => 1 is the only number that is neither prime nor composite number. ]


→ Co-prime number :- Those two numbers which HCF ( Highest Common Factor ) is 1, is known as Co-prime number.

E.g. :- (4,5) , ( 7,9 ) etc.


→ Integers :- An integer is a whole number ( not a fractional number ) that can be positive, negative , or zero.

E.g :- -5, -4 , -3 , 0 , 1 ,2, 3, etc.


→ Twin prime numbers :- A twin prime numbers are those numbers which are prime and having a common difference of two (2) between the two prime numbers.

E.g :- ( 3,5 ) , ( 5,7) , ( 11, 13 ) etc.


→ Rational number :- Those numbers which are expressed in p/q form where q is not equal to 0, then it is said to be rational number.

E.g. :- 2/3, 4/7, 5/1, etc.
