To find the Adding and Subtracting There is a simple formula i.e  (-b/2a)² in eq ax² + bx + c = 0
This can be done as follows:
As we know that ax² + bx + c = 0 is the standard quadratic equation.
1) Move 'c' to other side.
2) Add  and subtract (-b/2a)² on the equation.

In 9x² + 3/4x - √2 = 0
         (3x)² + 3/4x = √2

=(-b/2a)²
=(-3/4 ÷ 1/2(3))²
=(-1/8)²
=1/64

Hence 1/64 should be added and subtracted.

:) Hope this Helps!!!
