average velocity of any object is its total displacement divided by the total time taken.

Acceleration of any object is change in velocity of that object divided by time taken.

Acceleration = change in velocity / time taken

acceleration = ( final velocity -initial velocity) / time taken

a = v-u/ t

v = u + at
