Given that, radius(r) = 28cm
length(h)= 15cm
Then, csa of cylinder = 2πrh
=2*22/7*28*15
=44/7*420
=2640 sq.cm
Also Given,slant height(l)= 53cm
Then, CSA of cone=πrl
=22/7*28*53
=22*4*53
=4664 sq.cm
Area of Canvas required for the tent= CSA of cone + CSA of cylinder
=4664+2640
=7304 sq.cm

[First of all, is everthing in meter or centimeter? If everything in meter then also the answer is correct. Or if centimeter then also correct.]
