Quirk of fate -
It is used in expressing the situations where it is just a different scenario from what you were looking forward to.
It means a peculiar, strange or an unexpected event that has occurred / is occuring.
Ex: Due to a quirk of fate, I found myself sipping beers with my team leader.
Note: Quirk of fate is not something bad, it's just different.


Confined to-
Being limited to or restricted to a finite space, area etc.
Ex: In our company, we're confined to the work floor.

Exaggeration -
An act of making something seem bigger, larger, better or worse than it is in reality.
Ex: The exaggeration of the advertising companies sometimes end up quite hilarious.

An epitome of -
A perfect an ideal example of any oarticular quality or character.
Ex: India is an epitome to the concept of "Unity in Diversity"

Millennium -
A period or a term of thousand years.
Ex: Smartphones came into use only after the 2nd millenium AD
