The idea characteristic of the antibiotics are;
1)They must be of selective toxicity such that they affect only the parasite and not the host cell.
2)The have two different effect on the growth and viability of bacteria.
3) The two affects are Bacteriostatic and Bacteriocidal
4) Bacteriostatic slows the growth of the bacteria or prevent the multiplicity of them.
5)Bacteriocidal effect kills the bacteria directly and they do not rely up on followup immune system response.
