atomic no.25 is Mn and it's electronic configuration is 1S2,2S2,2p6,3S2,3p6,4S2,3d5 and it's divalent means Mn+2 then it loses it's 2 e- in 4s so only 3d5 in valance orbital , no. of unpaired e- in MN+2 is 5 , and bohr magnetic moment= √n(n+2) , BM= √5(5+2) BM= √35= 5.91 Q.2. because oxygen and Flourine has high Electronegativity , high electro affinity and they are small in size so that's why metal show high oxidation state with oxide and flouride
