Please tell me difference between elastic limit and proportional limit

elastic limit means if we applied any external force to any object then it wil be displaced and if we remove that force than it wil be come back its orignal position that is called elasticity within the elastic limit and elastic limit will be used for elongation of any object and proportional limit show relation between to term as a example q proportional to temprature difference
