Explanation:

i) Time = 12 mins = 720secs.

speed = 35km/hr = 175/18 m/s

distance= speed x time.

distance = 720x175/18

               = 40 x 175

               = 7000m = 7km.

ii) accleration is vector this says that it can be positive as well as negative quantity. It can also be zero ( when a body is moving with uniform velocity).

hope my answer helps........

Answer:

Time taken by a car = 12 mins

Speed travelled by a car = 35 km/hr

Time in sec = 12×60 = 720 secs.

Speed in m/sec = 720×5/18

= 200 m/sec.

Distance travelled by car = Speed × Time

= 200 × 720

= 144000 m.

Distance travelled by car in km = 144000/1000 km

= 144 km. ANS
