The poem ‘Walk a little slower Daddy’ is about a child’s plea to his father.
The child implores his father to take small steps and walk slow because the child is walking behind him and wants to become like him.
If the father would walk too fast the child will not be able to follow.
The child further says that when he would grow up and become a dad, a child would follow him too and he wanted to take the right steps for him.
It is a beautiful poem which shows how boys idolize their father and expect to learn from them everything in life.
