please tell me how does an increasing population cause scarcity of water​

if population will increase then each person waste water in bulk and scarcity comes

ANSWER:

As population increases nowadays, the demand for water is also increasing. As we know, there is about only 1% of fresh water available for our usage. That 1% of water has to meet the daily demands of over billions and billions of population. There are already many nations and places that suffer from scarcity of water.

Due to the increase of population, the demands of water requirement is also increasing. This reduces the amount of water available on earth for us, and causes lack of water.

Hence, increasing population causes scarcity of water.
