Please tell me how to draw ray diagram when a question is given how can we identify that the the ray diagram is virtual or erect or real and inverted

if the image cut is below the pricipal axis and is formed on the in front of image then it is real and inverted
if it is above the pricipal axis and is formed behind the mirror then it is virtual and erect

when the it is virtual and erect than it will be formed behind the mirror whereas in real and inverted the image wil form in front of mirror ,it
will be inverted
