shreya162002: The length of the rectangle will be 28 cm and the bredth will be 14cm so perimeter will be 84m I think so....?
krutika28: can you please tell me the way you did
shreya162002: K I'll
shreya162002: oh and btw a lil mistake 84cm
shreya162002: Here you see that there are two circles of equal area and all together they are 308cm² so if you want the area of one circle then divide 308/2 which will be 154cm² and then use the formula of area of the circle which is (pi x r²) and then you will be the value of r which will be 7cm and the diameter of the circle will be 14cm which is half the length of the rectangle and in that way you will get the bredth and then the perimeter
krutika28: thanks
shreya162002: welcome

Area of circles=
2 \pi r ^{2}
Therefore
2(22 \div 7) \times r ^{2} = 308
r ^{2} = (308 \div 2) \times (7 \div 22)
 {r}^{2} = 49 \\ r = 7 \\ 4r =length \:of \: side \: of \: rectangle = 4 \times 7 = 28cm
2r = breadth \: of \: rectangle = 2 \times 7 = 14cm
Thus Perimeter=28+14+28+14
= 84cm
