1] 1352 =√ 2 × 2 × 2 × 13 × 13

=> 1352 = 26√2

=> so, we multiply the number by 2 to get a perfect square.

2] let the present age of son = y years

let the present age of father = x years

=> x = 4y --------> (1)

10 years later

=> ( x + 10 ) = 3( y + 10 )

=> x + 10 = 3y + 30

=> x - 3y = 20 ----------(2)

substituting the value of x = 4y in equation (2)

=> 4y - 3y = 20

=> y = 20

putting, y = 20 in (1) we get,

=> x = 4 × 20

=> x = 80

hence, present present age of son = 20 years

present age of father = 80 years
