Answer:

25N

Explanation:

Team A=120N+150N

=270N

Team B=110N+135N

=245N

To find the net force you have to subtract the smallest from the largest (that is 270N-245N)

By doing this you get 25N

Thus team A wins the game by applying more force

Hope it helps you.........

  • There are four boys divided into 2 teams of 2 boys each .
  • Team A applies forces of 120N and 150N respectively.
  • Team B applies a force of 110N and 135N respectively.

  • The net resultant force.

In taking dirⁿ of force in consideration , we will add up the forces to obtain the resultant Force. Let us say two forces F and f act in opposite to dirⁿ of each other such that F > f , then net force will be ,

Let's look at both teams seperately .

\purple{\underbrace{\overbrace{\underline{\tt{\green{\leadsto TEAM \:A:-}}}}}}

➤ Force applied by first boy = 120N .

➤ Force applied by second boy = 150N .

\tt:\implies F_{net_1}=F_1+F_2

\tt:\implies F_{net_1}=150N + 120N

\underline{\boxed{\red{\tt{\longmapsto F_{net_1}\:\:=\:\:270N }}}}

\purple{\underbrace{\overbrace{\underline{\tt{\green{\leadsto TEAM \:B:-}}}}}}

➤ Force applied by first boy = 110N .

➤ Force applied by second boy = 135N .

\tt:\implies F_{net_2}=F_1+F_2

\tt:\implies F_{net_2}=110N + 135N

\underline{\boxed{\red{\tt{\longmapsto F_{net_2}\:\:=\:\:245N }}}}

\tt:\implies F_{resultant}=F_{net_1}-F_{net_2}

\tt:\implies F_{resultant}=270N-245N
