Actually you need to check the signs of the integers
if you are adding 2 integers that are positive it's just like the addition we learnt from our childhood
if u are adding 2 integers that are negative say -x and -y then the sum is -(x+y)
if u are adding a negative and a positive integer say x and -y it is x - y
if they are -x and y then it is y-x
