When we round off or correct it

if the digit is smaller than 5 we omit that number

ex: 2.344=2.34(correct it two decimals)

If the digit is more than 4 that means 5 and above 5 then we add 1 to the preceding digit.

ex: 2.347=2.35(correct it two decimals)
