1. Let the number be x.

We know that there are 4 courners of a square.

On counting each corner thrice, we get

3 * 4 = 12.

Given that add the count to me to get exactly thirty-four.

That means, when 12 is added to x, the result is 34.

x + 12 = 34

x = 34 - 12

x = 22.

Verification:

x + 12 = 34

22 + 12 = 34

34 = 34.

(2) Let the number be x.

Given that for each day of the week make an up count from me.

We know that number of days in a week = 7.

x + 7  ----------- (1)

Given that if you make no mistake, you will get 23.

x + 7 = 23

x = 23 - 7

x = 16.

Verification:

x + 7 = 23

16 + 7 = 23

23 = 23.

(3) Let the number be x.

Given that I am a special number take away from me a  six.

x - 6  ---- (1)

Given that A whole cricket team you will still be able to fix.

We know that A cricket has 11 players.

x - 6 = 11

x = 11 + 6

x = 17.

Verification:

x - 6 = 11

17 - 6 = 11

11 = 11.

(4) Let the number be x.

Given that you will get me back if you take me out of twenty-two.

22 - x = x

22 = x + x

22 = 2x

x = 22/2

x = 11.

Verification:

22 - x = x

22 - 11 = 11

11 = 11.

Hope this helps!
