Answer:

The paradox is a statement that sounds contradictory at the first reading but turns out to be meaningful in deep analysis. In the seventh line of the poem, the poet uses this paradox. It sounds contradictory because no child can be the father of man but in the deep analysis, it means that every child of the present is a potential father for the future and every father of the present was once a child. No, a person can become a father without becoming a child first. Infancy is the past of a child and manhood is his future. Infancy is the past of a child and manhood is his future. If an infant is provided with love, care, and nutritious food, it grows into a healthy child. The child then develops into a self-dependent citizen. Thus, this paradox carries the very important meaning that if present is the outcome of the past so naturally the future will be the outcome of the present.
