Answer:

1 : 3

Step-by-step explanation:

ratio = (5x-5) : (10x+35)

as, sum of adjacent angles in parallelogram = 180°

(5x-5) + (10x+35) = 180

15x+30 = 180

15x = 180-30

15x = 150

x = 150/15

x = 10

then, (5x-5) = 5 X 10 -5 = 45°

(10x+35) = 10 X 10 + 35 = 135°

ratio = (5x-5) : (10x+35) = 45 : 135 = 1 : 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey mate first you have to know the properties of parallelogram.

In the attachment the last property that is given The sum of adjacent sides of parallelogram are supplementary.

This property we have to use.

By applying that :- 5x-5+10x+35=180

By simplifying we get 15x+30=180

15x=150

x=10.

Now the first side=5x-5

5(10)-5

=45

the second side =10x+35

=10(10)+35

=135

Now it is asked that we have to find ratio.

45:135

1:3
