Answer is 4000

Solution :-

Let the price of 1 chair be Rs. x

Let the price of 1 table be Rs. y

Then,

3x + 2y = 4500........ 1eq.

5x + 3y = 7000.........2eq.

By multiplying 1eq. by 3

And 2eq. by 2

(3x)×3 + (2y)×3 = 4500× 3

(5x)×2 + (3y)×2 = 7000× 2

9x + 6y = 13500

10x + 6y = 14000

By subtracting both equations

Ans will get,

-x = - 500

x = 500

By putting the value of x in 1eq.

3(500) + 2y = 4500

1500 +2y = 4500

2y = 4500 - 1500

2y = 3000

y = 3000/2

y = 1500

Value of 2 chair 2 table....

2x + 2y

2(x+y)

2(500 + 1500)

2×2000

4000 ans

GIVEN :

• The price of 3 chairs and 2 tables is 4500 rupees.

• The price of 5 chairs and 3 tables is 7000 rupees.

TO FIND :

• Total price of 2 chairs and 2 tables = ?

SOLUTION :

• Let the price of chair = x

• And the price of table = y

• According to the first condition –

 \\ \implies \bf3x + 2y = 4500\\

 \\ \implies \bf2y = 4500 - 3x\\

 \\ \implies \bf y =\dfrac{1}{2}(4500 - 3x) \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  -  -  - eq.(1)\\

• According to the second condition –

 \\ \implies \bf5x +3y =7000\\

• Using eq.(1) –

 \\ \implies \bf5x +3 \times \dfrac{1}{2}(4500 - 3x) =7000\\

 \\ \implies \bf5x + \dfrac{3}{2}(4500 - 3x) =7000\\

 \\ \implies \bf5x + \dfrac{3}{2}(4500) -\dfrac{3}{2}(3x) =7000\\

 \\ \implies \bf5x +6750-\dfrac{9x}{2}=7000\\

 \\ \implies \bf5x-\dfrac{9x}{2}=7000 -6750\\

 \\ \implies \bf\dfrac{10x - 9x}{2}=7000 -6750\\

 \\ \implies \bf\dfrac{10x - 9x}{2}=250\\

 \\ \implies \bf\dfrac{x}{2}=250\\

 \\ \implies \bf x=250 \times 2\\

 \\ \implies \bf x=500\\

• Again Using eq.(1) –

 \\ \implies \bf y =\dfrac{1}{2}(4500 - 3 \times 500)\\

 \\ \implies \bf y =\dfrac{1}{2}(4500 - 1500)\\

 \\ \implies \bf y =\dfrac{1}{2}(3000)\\

 \\ \implies \bf y =1500\\

• Hence , The price of chair = 500

• And The price of table = 1500

• Now let's find total price of 2 chairs and 2 tables –

 \\ \implies \bf Total \:  \: price = 2x + 2y\\

 \\ \implies \bf Total \:  \: price = 2 \times 500+ 2 \times 1500\\

 \\ \implies \bf Total \:  \: price = 1000+3000\\

 \\ \implies \large{ \boxed{ \bf Total \:  \: price = 4000}}\\

Hence , Total price of 2 chairs and 2 tables is 4,000 rupees.
