From the following figure:-

BC and CD are in series connection

Let, the resistance be R1 for series connection BC and CD

___________________________

R1 (BC + CD)

10 ohm + 10 ohm

20 ohm

___________________________

Now, according to given figure:-

R1 and BD are in parallel connection

Let, the resistance be R2 for parallel connection R1 and BD

___________________________

R2 (1/R1 + 1/BD)

1/20 + 1/10

(1+2)/20

3/20 ohm

So, Resultant resistance =>3/20 ohm

___________________________

Now, Voltage => 6v {given}

OHM's law:-

V=IxR

° 6 = I x 3/20

I = 6 x 20/3

I = 2 x 20

I = 40A

Hence, I = 40A
