Volume of tin with square base = length * breadth * height

                                                    = 9 * 9 * 12

                                                    = 972 cm^3.

Volume of tin with circular base = πr²h

                                                     = (22/7) * (3.5)² * 10

                                                     = (22 * 3.5 * 3.5 * 10)/7

                                                     = 385 cm³


Hence, the volume ot tin with square base is greater then circular base by 587 cm³
