a+b is rational ..... is correct because both r positive integers.... a- b is a positive integers is wrong as. we don't know which one is greater and a/b is irrational is wrong as when we divide 2 rational no result is rational..... hope it helps u....

First option a + b is the correct answer. Because a + b is a rational number.

In b option the sign is of negative so itz not a positive integer.

In c option the number is rational coz there's no any root or any thing which leads to an irrational number, hence itz a rational number.

The d option is not possible as we have the first option as our answer....
