Step-by-step explanation:

1.) Using identity (x+a)(x+b) = x² +(a+b)x+ab ,

(x+8)(x-10) = x² +(8-10)x -10×8 = x² -2x -80

2.) Using identity, (a+b)(a-b) = a²-b²

(y²)²- (3/2)² = y⁴ - 9/4

(1) in first question we cannot use identity if there were (x+8)(x-8) or

(x+10)(x-10) we may use identity a^2-b^2 now you will have to solve this question simple using multiplication.

(2) in this que.you may use identity a^2-b^2.
