He says that,it is time for him to get some more potatoes.He went to the attic(a space between the roof and sealing)where his friend Peter was picking the fleas (the insects ) from the body of the cat .But unfortunately the cat notices and runs away through the window and into the rain gutter(a prepared channel in a surface ). At that time his friend Peter swears at him( using an indecent language)but he didn't take it too serious but just laughs and moves out
