Please tell me the positive and negative effect of caste on politics.

Positive effect:
When we do caste politics the main advantage is we can gain more number of votes from their caste members .Caste politics helps their caste people to get more the offers of the government.
Negative effect:
When caste politics are there the disadvantages are most of the people can't get the services from government and this may lead to a conflict between two group of people

the positive effect is that the lower cast people can try more hard work for make the upward class to back ward.
And the negative effect is that the upper cast people do not want to mix with lower cast people.
