please tell me the properties of metals and non metals ??

The properties of metals are -

1) Metals are lustrous, ductile, malleable.
2) They are good conductors of heat and electricity.
3) Metals are solid at room temperature with the exception of mercury which is liquid at room temperature.

The properties of non metal are -

1) Non metals are non malleable, non ductile and non lustrous.
2) They are bad conductors of heat and electricity.
3) Gain electrons easily.
