• angle P = 50° and angle R = 65°

TO FIND :-

• The value of x, y and z.

SOLUTION :-

In Triangle PQR ,

⇒ 65° + 50° + z = 180°

Reason:- Angle sum property of triangle

⇒ 115 ° + z = 180°

⇒ z = 180° - 115°

⇒ z = 65°

Now,

⇒ y = 65°

Reason:- Alternate interior angle

Now,

⇒ x + y + z = 180°

Reason:- Linear pair

⇒ x + 65° + 65° = 180°

⇒ x + 130° = 180°

⇒ x = 180°- 130°

⇒ x = 50°

Hence , x = 50° ,y = 65° and z = 65°.
