11. The sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180°.

Therefore, A+B+C = 180       ............................................... (1)

GIVEN:-

  • A-B = 15

=> A= 15+B (Taking B to the right side) ------------------------- (a)

  • B-C = 30

=> B= 30+C (Taking C to the right side) ------------------------ (b)

Substituting (b) in (a)

A= 15+ (30+C)

A  = 45+C ------------------------------- (c)

Substituting (c) and (b) in (1)

A+B+C =180

45 + C + 30 + C + C =180

75 + 3C =180

3C= 180-75

3C= 105

C= 105/3

C= 35°

A = 45 + 35 = 80°

B = 30 + 35 = 65°

Therefore, option a) 80°, 65°, 35° is correct.

12. We know that when two lines cross each other the vertically opposite angles are always equal.

∴b° + c°= e° + f °

statement (iii) is wrong.

Now, We can eliminate option C and D.

c° = f ° (vertically opposite angles) ---------------- (a)

a+f+e = 180° (angles in a straight line sum upto 180°)

substituting (a)

a + c + e = 180°

statement (ii) is true.

OPTION B is the correct answer...
