Answer:

Given: 90 km/hr

216 km /hr

We have to express km /hr into m/sec

By using formula: 5/18 m/ sec

90 km /hr = 90×5/18

= 25m/sec

216 km / hr = 216×5/18

= 60m/ sec

Q3I. Given,

distance covered by a car = 212 km

Time taken by car to covered the distance = 4 hours

Now,

we have to find the speed of the car

By using formula: speed= distance/time

According to the question

Speed= 212/4 km/hr

54 km/ hr

Hence,

Speed of the car is 54km/ hr

Q3II. Given,

distance travelled by a aeroplane = 3120 km

Time taken by the aeroplane to travelled one city to another = 3 hours

Now, we have to find the speed of the aeroplane

By using formula: speed= distance / time

According to the question

Speed= 3120/3 km/hr

1040 km/ hr

Hence, speed of the car is 1040 km/hr

Q4. Given,

Uniform speed of the car = 48km/hr

Time taken by the car to travelled = 12 hours

Now, we have to find distance travelled by the car

By using formula: speed × time = distance

According to the question

Distance = 48 ×12 km

= 576km

Hence,

Distance travelled by the car is 576km
