Suppose he starts from point a. Then, time taken to take one round = 40 sec and distance covered = 2 ☓ 3.14 ☓ 100.

= 628m

Now no of rounds = total time taken/ time taken to complete one round.

No of rounds = 140/ 40 = 3. 5rounds.

Now total distance covered = 3.5 ☓ 628m =2200 m

And displacement = diameter = 200m

[ NOTE - I HAVE TAKEN PI = 3.14. IF U TAKE 22/7 THEN ANS CAN VARY]

Krais: Pks mark brainliest
samtennyson473: hey listen....here in the ncert book it is given that the answer of this question is as shown:- distance=2200m and displacement=200m
samtennyson473: why?
Krais: Sorry.because the time is 140 sec due to which round become 3.5 and so displacement = diameter = 200m and distance = 3.5 ☓ 628 = 2200 m
Krais: Actually in the pic i didnt notice 2o sec written after 2 min
Krais: Sol will same u can just write 140 sec in time taken and wherever this value is used
